What is RTT?

RTT is a proven and effective method, it incorporates the most effective components of hypnosis, CBT, psychotherapy, psychology, healing and neuro linguistic programming (or NLP). Marisa Peer, (who created RTT) has 30 years of experience and is recognised as one of the best British therapists.

What happens in Hypnosis and how will I feel?

Hypnosis doesn’t take over your brain. Hypnotic trance is a completely natural state of inward focus. It is similar to the experience of the flow state, like being totally absorbed while watching a movie. The experience feels different for different people. Some people feel a floating sensation, some do not. Others may feel sleepy, some do not. Most people feel incredibly relaxed and at ease. What’s most important is to know that how you feel isn’t an indicator of how effective it is. Regardless of what it feels like – it’s working. I promise.

The critical, chattering mind is bypassed and we can access beliefs formed many years ago. In hypnosis, your subconscious mind is accessed which in turn makes you incredibly suggestive to positive and life-changing thoughts.

Hypnosis is a natural state, everyone is hypnotised. When you get in the car and drive on autopilot, you’re hypnotised. When you are watching television and get so involved in it and you jump from a loud noise, then you’re in hypnosis. We go into hypnosis all the time, but some people have this preconception that hypnosis is a state of sleep, it is not.

Hypnosis isn’t what you have seen on TV when you are not aware of what is happening or don’t remember anything after. You have complete control the whole time.

Hypnosis is about one thing: being suggestible and accepting new more helpful suggestions.

What if I don’t “go deep” enough?

Don’t worry about how deep you go. I want you to forget all about that. It’s really not important. The depth of trance is not linked to results at all. So don’t get stuck on “Am I deep enough?” Just tell yourself the truth – “This is working” and it will absolutely work. Just know that it is effective.

Will it take a long time to get results with therapy?

Because RTT works with the depth of our subconscious mind new beliefs are able to take roots. Typically in just one to three sessions. Positive suggestions like seeds are planted in the subconscious mind. RTT is a faster type of therapy.

What if the results don’t last, will I have to pay for a session every time I need the Relief?

With a session you get your personal hypnosis recording that helps to create lasting change. You can listen to it anytime you need it. The recording lays down pathways or connections between neurons. As new pathways are strengthened, new behaviors become second nature.

The recording is customized just for you, I use words that resonate with you. You listen to it for 21 days. It is scientifically proven to form a new habit. Your transformation is also down to you listening to your recording and commitment to your change.

I don’t like to talk about or explore my feelings

Your feelings are the most real thing you have. Your feelings are like the classroom full of children. They are going: “Listen to me, me, me. Acknowledge me!” When you ignore them, they don’t go away, they regroup, they get stronger. They come back and say: “Listen to me, listen to me…” If you push them down again, they come back again.

Many people push their feelings away with food, alcohol or addictions, but the feelings come back. Until you allow yourself to talk, acknowledge and feel these feelings, only then can they go away.

What if I don’t want to share what I see during the session

Whatever you see in your scenes, you will be reviewing it, and you don’t need to share with me anything you’re uncomfortable with. The most important thing is for you to understand what happened and why you have this belief.

How long does it take?

Each Rapid Transformational Therapy session lasts between 90 minutes to 2 hours.

What if I think I already know the reasons behind my issue?

What makes RTT amazing is that even if you think you know the reason, you see it in a  COMPLETELY new way. That’s what allows you to change the meaning and ultimately, change your beliefs. Many clients go back to scenes that are totally different to  what they expected. Just relax and trust that your subconscious mind will show you exactly what you need to see. 

What if I go back to scenes that are painful or scary?

If you go back to scenes from your life that are related to things like sexual or physical abuse, or other trauma, it’s important to remember that you are not reliving that scene, you are simply reviewing it and that you are safe. I will support you and create a safe space for you to express your emotions and heal – you’ll be OK. 

When will I start to see changes?

There are 3 types of change from Rapid Transformational Therapy – every person is different: 

  • Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away – immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts and behaviors after the session. 
  • Incremental: You see consistent shifts every day, or over time. 
  • Retroactive: You don’t see the shifts right away and then one day you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life.

What if I need or want another session?

RTT is designed to give you a powerful breakthrough and create big changes in your life. Some clients may need more than one RTT session on a particular issue, depending on how deep it is. It  may take up to 3.
